My first job was great.. except for the hours I had to spend checking through stacks of paper system status logs! This wasn’t fun, it was easy to miss errors, and it really used a lot of paper, which needed to be transported and archived.

So, I learned to program and created a logging application to receive serial data from the systems, summarise the errors, and save to log files.
That simple application allowed the system logs to be quickly and reliably checked, the chattering system log printers to be turned off, and for the whole documentation process that the system logs were a part of to go digital - saving on paper, transport, and archiving.

I like creating digital products to make tasks faster and easier, and that’s what Skyber Solutions does.
